osCommerce Freelancers provides Store Owner and Programmer/Designer with safe transfer payment options to help projects get completed smoothly.

The Store Owner can set aside a specific amount of money into a safe transfer account located within osCommerce Freelancers, for a specific Programmer/Designer. Both the Store Owner and the Programmer/Designer can then view the payment sitting in the safe transfer account, but only the Store Owner can complete the payment to the Programmer/Designer.

The Programmer/Designer is the only person (other than osCommerce Freelancers admin) who can cancel this payment. This process gives each party half of the control over the money held in safe transfer.

Once the project gets completed, the Store Owner can then transfer the funds from the safe transfer account to the Programmer/Designer.

If the project is cancelled amicably, the Programmer/Designer can then cancel the transfer of funds which will then return to the Store Owner account.

If there are any disputes over a project, osCommerce Freelancers admin must be contacted before any funds can be moved from the safe transfer account.
